Hey! I'm Benjie. I'm a self-taught wonder, and I am actively seeking a position as a Jr Front-End Developer at a forward-thinking company building modern applications for the web .
I'm part of the development team for No Key No Shade, an API to store and retrieve data about the reality show Ru Paul's Drag Race. We're also building a web app to facilitate Fantasy Leagues for the show, which should be ready just in time for Season 10 in March 2018!
The internet has always been a home - I built my first website at 12 years old, when CSS was this neat new thing no one was using yet - but I went to school for Theatre Production (Stage and Production Management). I've spent a few years producing theatre and events, lemme tell ya, there's no better way to learn how to do creative collaboration under extreme pressure, while staying flexible to changing stakeholder demands, and putting out a product that puts the
user audience first.
